Picture of volunteers to welcome you Sign up to help by MARCH 4! Whether you want to be part of Stage Crew, making crafts at Keiki Activities, a friendly face at our Info booth, selling soda, water or raffle tickets,
or joining our SWAT volunteers, there's always something fun to help with at Festival!

Check our Volunteer Page for more info or
sign up directly online. It's easy!

Do you ever wonder how we keep the Festival free?
It takes a lot of money.
We compete for grants and gifts by writing proposals. We look for Sponsors and appreciate that you visit them. We collect fees from our vendors. But that's never quite enough.

YOU help us too! You buy our Hawaiian Vacation raffle tickets and teeshirts. You buy soda and water from our booths. When you fly on Hawaiian Air, you use our Affiliate Code to save some money and miles are donated to us as well. Some even make cash donations, especially at tax time. You volunteer! And now, you Amazon shoppers can even help through our SMILE account!

So when it comes time to pay for the rental of the park; Police, Fire and Security services; the stages and sound; the pickup and haul off of trash (and we like to eat, so there's LOTS of trash!); and all those tents and tables and chairs...we can do it without an admission fee!

We want the whole ohana to come, enjoy, learn about the rich cultures of the South Pacific, and have a lot of FUN! Share the aloha with us!

Check these handy links for more info to plan your visit:
  • Use the Location and Map page to find area parking info, although we recommend using the Light Rail or our new valet parking for bicycles! There's also bus info and a google map to find the Beach Park.

  • Use the Festival Map to locate stages, food vendors, kids activities, shopping, and the very important port-a-potties! (Flushies are near the Mountain Stage.) Plus more!

  • Keep our keiki (kids) safe! The MAP points out the 'Lost Parents' booth, where the Tempe Police Explorers are giving free wristbands to help locate you or your little one if you get separated.
  • Want to know if we have ATMs? How to get to the Festival? Our Festival Tips & Facts gives that info and more. Did you know beach umbrellas or popup tents are not allowed? Or our recommendations on bringing dogs? Or where the best parking is? And more!

Festival weekend is busy but some of us want to pack more in, and after all, Saturday night is open, right? We've scheduled two workshops from 7:30 to 9 pm you may find interesting:

Tattooing in Hawaii and other Polynesian Cultures
The designs of Polynesian tattoo are striking and currently popular. But do you know about the origins of the designs and how they were implemented in the art produced on the skin?

E Mele Hula Kakou: Evolution of Hawaiian Traditions
Hula dancers, singers, and musicians are welcome as we explore the role of dancer and musician through deeper understanding of Hawaiian music

Both are located close to the Festival at:
Boys and Girls Club, Ladmo Branch
